The Melody Restaurant serves Mediterranean and Alpine dishes using seasonal ingredients. The Melody Whisky Bar stocks over 350 whiskies from Scotland, Ireland, Japan, Germany, India, Israel, and Sweden. The restaurant takes its name from the 1971 film 'Melody', which filmed scenes at the original St Paul's School.

Directly outside, buses 9, 10, and 27 go to Kensington Palace, Harrods, Notting Hill Gate, and central London sites. Historical Significance

The building served as St Paul's School from 1884. During World War II, Winston Churchill planned the D-Day landings from this location in 1944. The hotel combines period architectural details with modern amenities including free WiFi throughout the property.

“St Paul's Hotel occupies a striking historical building, once a school, now reborn as a boutique stay near Hammersmith. The whisky bar stands out, boasting a remarkable collection, and the easy access to bus routes makes city exploration simple. I'd recommend it for travellers seeking a blend of London history and modern comfort.”

fantastic stay, was really good!

useful fridgepowerful showertea facilitiescoffee facilities
i was thrilled with my executive double room! the mini fridge was super useful for keeping my drinks cold. i especially appreciated the powerful shower, it made mornings so much better. the tea and coffee facilities meant i could always have a warm drink (perfect for a chilly evening!).
the bathroom could use a little attention to the bath and ceiling, but honestly, it didn't detract much from my otherwise wonderful visit.

I found the staff consistently helpful. Their service was prompt. the rooms were immaculate, and the space felt generous. the underfloor heating in the bathroom was particularly lovely, and i appreciated the great shower. It provided a very comfortable experience.
I noticed the absence of parking solutions. Finding suitable parking nearby proved somewhat difficult.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel features a restaurant with outside seating. This offered a relaxed atmosphere. the building itself has an interesting, historical presence, and this adds a touch of elegance to the experience.
Rooms

the classic double room included good facilities. i liked the spotlessly clean condition of the room, and it contributed positively to the overall experience. the comfort was certainly noticeable.
Location
10/10
The location provided easy access to public transportation, with a bus stop directly outside! the proximity to the underground station also supported convenient travel around the area. This made exploring the city straightforward.
Dining

The breakfast offered was sufficient and variable, catering to different tastes. while not lavish, it provided a good start to the day.
